Described by Sounds as a 'silver-tongued devil', with one of his many unsuccessful bands, Teenage Dog Orgy, called 'legendary' by the NME, Paul Hullah is a veteran of British music and poetry scenes, and currently tenured Professor of British Poetry at Meiji Gakuin University, Tokyo. In 2013 he won the Asia Pacific Brand Laureate International Personality Award, an honour endorsed by the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia and the country's 13th King, for 'paramount contribution to the cultivation of literature [that has] exceptionally restored the appreciation of poetry and contributed to the literary education of students in Asia.' He has written over 20 books, including Rock UK: A Sociocultural History of British Popular Music (Cengage, 2013), We Found Her Hidden: The Remarkable Poetry of Christina Rossetti (Partridge, 2016) and 7 volumes of poetry, including Homing (2011), Scenes: Words, Pictures, Music (2014, with Martin Metcalfe:
'raised the bar for what is possible when rock 'n' roll embraces and is inspired by art and poetry' (Louder Than War)), and, most recently, Climbable (2016).

Lach is the writer/performer and star of BBC Radio 4's The Lach Chronicles. author of The Thin Book of Poems, composer of six albums and founder of the international music and art movement known as Antifolk. 'Lach is the mastermind of Antifolk, like a Lower East Side rendezvous of Bob Dylan and Patti Smith. Like black snow, stalled subway cars and random violence, Lach is a Manhattan institution' - NY Times. 'Lach is incredibly bright, he's influential, he's funny, he's smart, and he's got his own, sort of, counter-culture charm. A very intelligent songwriter, funny, poetic. Roy Møller is a poet, songwriter and performer based in Dunbar. He has released seven solo albums, with BBC 6Music's Marc Riley describing him as 'Scotland's best-kept secret.' Roy has played Riley sessions as a solo artist and as a member of Jesus, Baby!, a group put together by Neu! Reekie!'s Michael Pedersen and fronted by Fire Engine and Sexual Object Davy Henderson. Møller's 2014 Lou Reed-themed album and Edinburgh Fringe show My Week Beats Your Year, for which he was accompanied by Lach, won splendid notices and a five out of five review from Louder Than War. His first poetry collection was published in December, 2014 and, along with Paul Hullah, Møller is a contributor to Neu! Reekie! #UntitledTwo, appearing on the bill with Hullah and Metcalfe at the anthology's launch event at the Edinburgh International Book Festival in August, 2016.

Martin Metcalfe is a musician and artist whose paintings have been extensively exhibited. He held his fifth solo show, Outsider Trading at St Margaret's House, Edinburgh in November, 2016. Currently he leads The Filthy Tongues, whose debut album Jacob's Ladder, was released last year to enormous critical acclaim. Metcalfe first found prominence as frontman of Goodbye Mr Mackenzie, one of the most acclaimed bands ever to rise through the ranks of the Edinburgh music scene. He then formed Angelfish, the band Shirley Manson left to join Garbage. Since then, Metcalfe has continued to occupy a unique place at the heart of Scottish alternative rock. With Paul Hullah he is the author of Scenes, (Word Power Press, accompanied by a 10″ vinyl recording of music, songs, and poetry by Hullah and The Filthy Tongues).
